Woot! started a weekly email filled with exclusive deals that could only be found there. Zach Roy created the visual concepts and layouts for the emails each week with an unbranded approach that delved into the bizarre.
Each email lead with a standard hero image with a featured product in a bizarre situation. A cat box soaring through the galaxy, a 3D printed hamburger, and so much more. Users commented that the emails were a return to what Woot was, an irrevelant comedy site that happened to have great deals. The emails were successful during the time they ran with site traffic increased during the days they were sent out.
